Job Summary Vidaltia Primary Care is a new primary care practice in Fort Lauderdale, serving a diverse, multilingual, and largely underserved community. We're hiring a highly organized, proactive part-time Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the practice and keep it running smoothly. You'll be the backbone of our administrative functions — keeping workflows efficient, communication clear between staff, providers, and our board, and the office a welcoming place for patients and the team. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, comfort with everyday office technology, and the initiative to handle issues before they become problems. Since we're just opening and patient volume will start low, this is a part-time role for now (about 20-24 hours/week), with the potential to become full-time as we grow. Duties Handle day-to-day issues as they come up and keep the clinic running smoothly Act as the liaison between the board and the staff: pass along direction, surface concerns, and give the board real-time feedback on how the clinic is running Oversee billing, claims, and collections Oversee scheduling and the patient experience Manage provider credentialing and payer enrollment on an as-needed basis Manage the EMR (CharmHealth) day to day: users, appointment types, and reporting Handle HR basics: onboarding, timekeeping, and coordinating payroll and PTO Manage vendors, supplies, and office tech (lab, in-office dispensing, phones, fax, internet) Coordinate monthly bookkeeping with our accountant (reconcile Square deposits, track expenses) Keep the practice organized: maintain records, files, and documentation, and set up simple systems that keep everything running in order Follow and help refine our existing policies and workflows Skills At least 2 years in medical office or practice management (or strong healthcare operations experience) Comfortable overseeing billing and collections, and familiar with medical billing and claims Good judgment and communication: someone who can handle issues on the fly and be a clear go-between for leadership and staff Organized, level-headed, and good with people Familiar with EMRs and scheduling Proficient in Microsoft Word (and comfortable with everyday office software) Provider credentialing / payer enrollment experience a plus HR basics (onboarding, timekeeping) familiarity a plus Bookkeeping familiarity (e.g., QuickBooks) a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole) a plus Startup or new-practice experience a plus Why work here You'll help run a new practice and have real say in how it works A small, mission-driven team Part-time now, with the potential to become full-time as the practice grows You'll be part of serving an underserved South Florida community Competitive pay, $30
