Owner / Management About Us DC ConServ, LLC is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to serve as the backbone of our day-to-day operations. This is a part-time, independent contractor role covering a wide range of responsibilities — if you like variety, ownership, and taking initiative on your work, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Travel Procurement — Book and coordinate all travel logistics (flights, hotels, rental vehicles, CEU's, etc.) and manage related expenses. Trade Licensing & Compliance — Track and manage trade licenses and renewals, ensuring nothing lapses. Prior experience with licensing or insurance is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person. State Board Communication — Professionally contact state boards and agencies by phone or email to gather information, submit paperwork/applications, and resolve licensing issues. QuickBooks Online Bookkeeping — Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and account reconciliation. General Administration — Manage a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks as they come up, and keep the business organized and running smoothly. Customer & Vendor Communication — Serve as a professional, courteous point of contact on the phone with customers, vendors, and outside agencies. What We're Looking For Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliation) required. Strong self-starter who can take initiative and keep things moving between regular check-ins, rather than needing task-by-task direction. Excellent phone and written communication skills; comfortable speaking with customers and state agencies. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Prior experience with licensing, insurance, or compliance work is a plus. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing daily tasks.
