Buescher & Company, LLC, is a local CPA firm serving the South Georgia-North Florida region. The firm has offices in Valdosta, GA and Madison, FL to provide a local presence for an extensive client base. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Office Administrator in our Madison office. This position will play an integral role in the customer service and organizational strength of our company while also working directly with clients to provide excellent accounting service. The Office Administrator will provide administrative support, greet and direct visitors and answer and respond to calls and emails, as well as provide full accounting service for clients to include preparing financial statements as well as payroll tax returns. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor. Job Duties Coordinate office workflow and tracking of tax returns Perform accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations Interact with clients to assist in providing quality service Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) Prepare quarterly and monthly payroll tax returns Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss statements and balance sheets for clients Conduct clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents Skill Requirements Excellent organizational and leadership skills 2-year Accounting degree, or Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role Quickbooks experience preferred Payroll processing and return filing experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Customer-service oriented Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects Reliable and punctual
