Job Description

Business Office Coordinator We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Business Office Coordinator to support the financial operations of our skilled nursing center. This position serves as the primary financial contact for residents and families and works closely with the Center Administrator and Central Billing Office. Technical Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and commercial insurance billing are handled by the Central Billing Office. Key Responsibilities Review admission financial packets for completeness and accuracy Assist residents and families with financial agreements and documentation Manage private-pay statements, collections, deposits, and payment posting Maintain and reconcile resident trust accounts Track Medicaid Pending applications and required documentation Reconcile daily census and communicate payer or resident status changes Respond to Central Billing Office requests and resolve documentation issues Maintain organized, confidential, and audit-ready financial records Assist with month-end processes, audits, and financial correspondence Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy Professional communication and customer-service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Experience in healthcare, long-term care, billing, collections, or business office operations preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic financial systems preferred The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, proactive, and committed to providing excellent service to residents, families, and team members.
