About Us We are Sona Pedicures, a modern, luxury waterless manicure and pedicure studio founded by a podiatrist and dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and elevated nail care experience. Our waterless approach prioritizes hygiene, comfort, and exceptional service for every client, and our team is trained with a foundation in proper foot health and care. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to lead front office operations and our front desk team. Reporting to the Operational Manager, you'll own the day-to-day performance of the front desk, manage and develop your team, and be a key partner in keeping the studio running at a high standard. This role is ideal for someone with proven leadership experience who wants real ownership over an important part of the business. Key Responsibilities Front Desk Leadership Own daily front desk operations, setting the standard for warm, professional client check-in and checkout Manage and troubleshoot appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations Oversee payment processing and end-of-day reconciliation, catching and resolving discrepancies Maintain and audit client records and preferences in our booking system Handle escalated client concerns with sound judgment, looping in the Operational Manager when needed Team Management Hire, train, and onboard front desk associates and leads Build and manage front desk schedules within staffing guidelines Coach and evaluate front desk team performance; address issues directly and proactively Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to studio standards Serve as the primary point of contact for the front desk team day-to-day Studio & Operations Oversight Ensure proper opening/closing procedures are followed and standards are maintained Manage front-desk and retail inventory, placing restock orders and tracking supply levels Maintain organized filing systems, records, and documentation Identify and resolve operational issues before they require escalation Manager Support Partner closely with the Operational Manager on administrative tasks, scheduling, and communications Track and organize client feedback and reviews, flagging trends or concerns Bring ideas and recommendations for improving guest experience and studio operations Step in to help manage the studio in the Operational Manager's absence Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant certification a plus 2+ years of front desk or office management experience, including direct staff supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Confident, professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve under pressure Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets; scheduling software experience required Preferred Experience with Zenoti or similar appointment booking software Prior management experience in a spa, salon, medical office, or similar customer-facing business Experience with staff scheduling, hiring, and performance management Interest in the beauty, wellness — a plus given our studio's podiatrist-founded approach to care What We Offer Competitive hourly/salary pay Employee discounts on services and retail products Positive, professional, and supportive team environment Clear path for growth — we promote from within and invest in our team's development Ongoing training and mentorship Schedule This is a full-time position.
