Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Office Administrator to join our growing tax and accounting firm. Responsibilities Greet clients and provide friendly, professional customer service Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage client inquiries Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Assist with organizing and maintaining client files and documents Receive, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence Assist with tax-season administrative duties and client document collection Enter and maintain accurate client information in office systems Prepare documents, correspondence, and basic reports Handle general office duties, including filing, copying, scanning, and ordering supplies Communicate professionally with clients regarding appointments, documents, and general questions Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information Provide administrative support to accountants and tax professionals as needed Qualifications Previous office administration, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and office software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Previous experience in a tax or accounting office is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay Paid time off / paid holidays Dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan Friendly and professional work environment Opportunities to learn about tax and accounting Seasonal Flexibility Why Join V&R Accounting?
