This role blends day-to-day office operations with human resources administration , serving as a key point of contact for staff, patients, families, and community partners. You'll help keep our agency running smoothly while ensuring our personnel and patient records stay accurate, compliant, and confidential. Responsibilities Office & Patient Records Management Maintain confidentiality of all patient information Keep medical records accurate and current in accordance with Medicare regulations and agency policy Answer and route incoming calls; welcome and assist visitors and guests Manage incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail Perform typing, faxing, copying, and general administrative support for staff Enter billing-related data accurately and on schedule Order and track medical equipment and office supplies Communicate updates to staff regarding admissions, discharges, visits, schedules, and clinical meetings Collect and record staff Daily Summary Records (DSRs) Track admission, discharge, IDT, certification, and re-certification dates for all patients Assist with audits of patient information Maintain accurate, up-to-date mailing lists for employees, patients, volunteers, medical directors, physicians, and partner facilities Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator Human Resources Oversee daily HR operations and help implement HR policies and procedures Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and accrediting body HR regulations Coordinate recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and termination processes in accordance with employment law Monitor competitor wage, salary, and benefit trends; recommend compensation adjustments to the Executive Director Support recruitment planning with the management team and represent the agency at community/recruitment events (health fairs, etc.) Coordinate new hire orientation and continuing education programs in partnership with the management team Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information Conduct an annual review of staff satisfaction with benefits and work environment, and report findings Recommend updates to benefits offerings to keep the package competitive and cost-effective Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in a medical, hospice, home health, or healthcare office setting Familiarity with: Patient scheduling Intake/referrals Medical terminology HIPAA compliance Familiarity with HR practices (recruitment, onboarding, basic employment law) preferred EMR / Software Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite HRIS systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to handle sensitive employee and patient information with discretion Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and personal auto liability insurance required for occasional community events/errands
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
