Job Summary:
The Church Office Administrator serves a critical role within our church office for communication, coordination, and oversight. The ideal candidate is skilled in dealing with a wide variety of people, possesses a friendly demeanor, keeps organized records, and helps to facilitate deadlines.Responsibilities:
Serves as a welcome point for in person visitors and point of contact via phone or email Provides administrative support to the Pastor, church staff and the session Prepares and produces weekly bulletin, weekly email update, session materials, and the annual report Manages office files, membership records, mailing lists and databases Distributes Sunday School curriculum and helps to prepare materials Schedules weekly live-stream setup, posts sermon online (YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and oversees the Zoom account for meetings Maintains church calendar including coordination with community groups Maintains social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, the Patch & Next Door) Collects and records statistics for online worship Updates and maintains the church website Updates bulletin boards Manages inventory for a variety of supplies Manages distribution of deliveries and donations Assists with preparations and set up for weekly worship services Partners with Properties to identify and schedule required maintenance and repairs for various systems and equipment including necessary access to the building; track documentation and required scheduling Partners with Finance Team by assisting with invoices and checks, printing annual stewardship materials and coordinating thank you acknowledgementsDesired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a responsible administrative capacity Ability to work well with a variety of personality types, possessing a friendly demeanor Excellent written communication skills Self starter with strong initiative Flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities Possesses a commitment to discretion and confidentiality An organized record keeper with the ability to follow processes and monitor deadlines Proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Docs, Facebook, Constant Contact, Zoom, Canva and Adobe or similar toolsPay:
$21.50 - $23.50 per hourBenefits:
