Office Operations Supervisor People's Resource Center - 4.5 Wheaton, IL Job Details Full-time $52,000 - $55,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Staff supervision Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Task prioritization Office management Full Job Description We are hiring a full-time Office Operations Supervisor to supervise the front desk, as well as ensure the administrative needs of the organization are met. This is a 40-hour per week position that will work a varied schedule based on the needs of the organization. This position is fully onsite and will have an office in Wheaton (IL), with the expectation that the candidate filling the role will have a regular presence at our Westmont location.
Essential Functions:
Front Desk Supervision:
Supervise front desk staff, including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, assigning administrative tasks, training, prioritizing work, and evaluating performance. Actively work shifts each week, providing coverage for lunch, time off, etc. Identify and recommend improvements to front desk procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and consistent procedures across all sites. Maintain current procedures in the front desk manual and ensure front desk staff are trained.
Office and Business Operations:
Oversee and implement office operations activities. Provide input to manager on planning and budgeting needs. Ensure cleanliness of all buildings. Maintaining an active phone listing, training new employees on phone usage, and providing up-to-date references for users. Implement an effective and efficient room scheduling system. Provide administrative and operations support for facilities, office operations and special projects. Coordinate and maintain safety records. Assist with vehicle fleet management. Maintain common rooms, including waiting areas, lunchrooms, hoteling offices, and shared reserved spaces. Provide orientation and troubleshooting to employees. Experience /
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Three (3) years of supervisory experience required. Five (5) years of experience in office operations required. For more information, visit: www.peoplesrc.org
