Job Description

Key Responsibilities Office Leadership & Management Lead and manage the local office, overseeing staff, resources, and project delivery Mentor and develop engineering team members, fostering a strong performance culture Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality Support hiring, team growth, and overall office strategy Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders Build and maintain long-term relationships with public and/or private sector clients Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and industry events Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and repeat business Business Development & Winning Work Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the civil infrastructure market Lead proposal efforts, including scoping, pricing, and strategic positioning Leverage existing networks and develop new relationships to grow the client base Collaborate with senior leadership to expand the firm's market presence Technical Oversight Provide technical guidance and oversight across a range of civil engineering projects (e.g., land development, water/wastewater, or municipal infrastructure) Review designs, reports, and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance Support project teams in solving complex engineering challenges Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain) 10_+ years of experience in civil engineering, including project delivery and client interaction Proven experience managing teams, projects, or an office environment Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and winning new work Strong understanding of local/regional market dynamics and client landscape Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Senior Stormwater Engineer Timonium
