Job Description

Description We are looking for an organized Office Manager to support daily administrative operations in Lenexa, Kansas. This contract position with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can balance front-office coordination with accounting support and keep office activities running smoothly. The role includes handling payables, setting up project records, managing incoming mail, and maintaining office supply levels. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized office setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and help prepare weekly payment runs to ensure timely disbursements.
  • Review and enter monthly statements from major suppliers, confirming charges and supporting account accuracy.
  • Create and update new project records in the company system so jobs are properly tracked from the start.
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, including ordering and restocking workplace supplies as needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
  • Perform basic statement reconciliation and identify discrepancies for follow-up and resolution.
  • Support reception and front-desk coverage by assisting with routine communication and visitor-facing tasks when needed. Requirements
  • Previous experience in office administration, office management, or a similar support role.
  • Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice entry and payment coordination.
  • Ability to reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
  • Experience ordering, tracking, and maintaining office supplies for a busy workplace.
  • Comfortable handling receptionist or front-office responsibilities with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and data entry systems.
  • High attention to detail and dependable follow-through in daily responsibilities.
