Job Description

Position Overview Ridgeview Eye Care is seeking an experienced, growth-minded Office Manager to lead daily operations within our practice. We are looking for more than traditional office management experience—the right person will bring ownership, structure, leadership presence, and a genuine desire to build a strong team and exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and support daily practice operations. Create a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture. Coach team members, provide feedback, address performance concerns, and confidently handle difficult conversations when needed. Maintain strong organization, communication, and follow-through across the team. Identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement, then help create and implement practical solutions. Support workflow consistency, training, scheduling, staff development, and team performance. Remain hands-on with the team while also thinking bigger-picture about continued practice growth. Help ensure patients receive a consistently excellent, organized, and welcoming experience. Partner with practice leadership to achieve operational, team-development, and growth goals. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is confident, organized, proactive, and emotionally mature. They are comfortable taking ownership of their role and do not need constant direction to identify and solve problems. They should be able to balance being approachable and supportive with holding clear expectations and following through on accountability. This person is dependable, solution-oriented, and genuinely invested in helping both the team and practice grow. Preferred Qualifications Previous office management, practice management, healthcare leadership, retail management, or team-lead experience. Experience coaching team members, managing performance, and building accountability. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and follow through on commitments. A hands-on leadership style with the ability to think both operationally and strategically. Sales or retail experience is a plus, particularly experience coaching a team around customer service, identifying opportunities, and driving results in a patient-centered way. Optical or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means creating a well-organized, accountable team that delivers a consistently excellent patient experience. The Office Manager will help build stronger workflows, develop staff, improve daily performance, and identify meaningful opportunities for continued practice growth.
