Location:
Topeka, KS (with regular travel to Overland Park, KS) Position Summary Established law firm seeks an experienced Office Manager to oversee operations across its Topeka and Overland Park offices. This role is based in Topeka and requires travel to the Overland Park office at least once per week or as needed (mileage reimbursed). The Office Manager works closely with the Managing Partner on firm operations, human resources, and financial management. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise support staff across both office locations Oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities, and vendor relationships Coordinate staffing, workflow consistency, and office procedures Lead hiring, onboarding, and employee relations processes Administer benefits programs through third party benefits administrator (health, dental, cafeteria plan, disability, retirement/profit sharing) Organize and oversee training and cross-training programs for support staff Assist Managing Partner develop and monitor the firm's annual budget Analyze financial and management reports; provide recommendations to leadership Maintain firm insurance programs, including professional liability coverage Qualifications 5+ years of office management experience (law firm or professional services preferred) Strong background in HR, benefits administration, and employment practices Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage operations across multiple locations Compensation & Benefits Salary starting at $75,000+ , depending on experience Paid vacation (starting at 2 weeks) plus additional PTO Paid holidays 401(k) with firm contributions and profit sharing Health, dental, and disability insurance Cafeteria plan, FSA/HSA options Mileage reimbursement for travel between offices All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, disability, age, national origin or ancestry.
