Job Description
Summary :
Serve as receptionist and telephone operator for office. Handle administrative duties as needed. Perform various website management functions. Assist with Events & Programs as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Knowledge,Skills- Outstanding computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office software, and database management, particularly Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Google
- Ability to solve problems and use sound judgment with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to perform multiple tasks under time constraints and with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to compose letters and memos, compile reports, etc. utilizing good grammar and punctuation with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal well with the public
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with business leaders, volunteers and community stakeholders
- Organizational skills; specifically, the ability to manage a great deal of information in a concise and organized fashion
- Attention to detail and meticulous upkeep of records and database information

- Responsible for general office duties, including opening/distributing mail, answering telephones, screening calls, directing calls, attending meetings taking minutes, scheduling appointments, typing correspondence, running critical errands, faxing, telephoning, and maintaining files.
- Responsible for maintaining all RSVPs for chamber events
- Responsible for billing, collections, invoicing working in tandem with the Director of Membership and HCCC bookkeeper
- Responsible for data entry, membership documentation, and membership directory
- Responsible for the composition of letters and memos as directed by the President/CEO.
- Attend Council/committee meetings as defined by the current year's business plan and be responsible for the set up and clean up of these meetings
- Maintain current newspaper clippings in an organized fashion re: Chamber news
- Responsible for continuously updating the chamber's website events/news/notes calendar
- Responsible for appearance of front office and reception/information area
- Responsible for brochure distribution and upkeep; restocking brochure racks and replenishing brochures supplied by members.
- Keep business relocation and other packets as needed stocked.
- Monitor weekly inventory: office supplies, equipment supplies, janitorial supplies, and kitchen staples and supplies. Order supplies as needed.
- Continually monitor cleanliness of kitchen, bathrooms, conference room and the building in general, tidying up when necessary. Keep notes for janitorial service and apprise them of special cleaning needs.
- Assist in other administrative duties as assigned by CEO

- Associates Degree or equivalent certification preferred. Experience
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience is required Additional Qualifications
