POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Office Manager assists the Executive Director in ensuring the administrative and financial functions of the community are operating efficiently. This role is responsible for managing the accounting and general bookkeeping of the community while supporting operational processes and maintaining accurate records. This position plays an important role in supporting staff, residents, and families while ensuring financial accuracy and administrative organization within the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee community accounting functions including billing, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting and reconciliation Support administrative operations and office coordination Assist the Executive Director with operational and financial processes Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies Provide professional and courteous communication with residents, families, and team members Maintain organized records and administrative systems Support daily office functions that keep the community operating efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Business Office Manager, accounting, bookkeeping, or office management experience preferred Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or service-based industries preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computers, typing, and office software Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
