Full-time Title:

Program Director Full Time Louisville and Elizabethtown:
Travel required to all sites
Schedule:
Two Days per week 11am
  • 7pm Three Days per week 9am
  • 5pm One Saturday per month In the field position
Job Summary:
This role ensures that each child receives individualized, evidence-based interventions designed to improve communication, adaptive skills, daily living skills, behavior regulation, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Assessment & Treatment Planning Conduct functional behavior assessments, skill assessments, and ongoing evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data. Set measurable goals aligned with the child's strengths, needs, and developmental level. Intervention & Direct Support Provide ABA-based therapy and model effective intervention techniques. Observe sessions to ensure implementation fidelity and provide corrective feedback. Adapt strategies to meet the needs of children with varying levels of intellectual disability. Parent, Staff, and Caregiver Training Provide hands-on training, coaching, and ongoing support to parents, teachers, and support staff. Lead workshops or skill-building sessions to strengthen caregiver capacity. Communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations clearly and professionally. Collaboration & Documentation Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate, timely documentation including session notes, assessments, and progress reports. Analyze data to make data-driven decisions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications:
Education Master's Degree in
Applied Behavioral Analysis BCBA Certification or License Certifications :
First Aid and CPR certification and SCM training are required to obtain.
Background Checks :
Successful completion of a background check, including criminal history and fingerprinting.
Physical Agility Test :
Successful completion of physical agility test.
Experience :
Prior experience working with youth, particularly in a residential or therapeutic setting, is preferred. Experience or training in first aid, vital signs monitoring, or related fields is preferred. Skills and Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage challenging behaviors and de-escalate tense situations Patience, empathy, and understanding Organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Working Conditions:
The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and participating in recreational activities with youth.
