Job Description

Morehouse in Bastrop, LA is currently seeking an Assistant Office Manager. Successful candidates will possess a minimum of a high school diploma and have experience working in a school environment managing school operations. •Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Job duties and essential functions listed below: Maintain student records and make reports as necessary Make purchases for the school and account for all expenditures Monitor and maintain records of all front office/school supplies Submit state reports and other front-office reports as required or as directed by the Principal Create and maintain staff records, including staff attendance records Update and keep accurate records via Infinite Campus Support data collection and the school dashboard Maintain a neat and orderly front office Foster a welcoming and supporting front office climate Administer medication, as directed and trained Support the student attendance protocol Support the tracking of student discipline records Maintain a neat and orderly student filing system Support the Principal with supply acquisition, as directed Support with the copying of materials, as needed Respond to front office phone calls and provide needed answers Follow all emergency procedures, and support all school emergency drills Work collaboratively with Third Future Schools and Charter School Institute staff Support the administrative team at parent/teacher conferences Support student recruitment efforts Perform other duties as assigned Third Future Schools is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
