Job Description

Overview Join a dynamic and growing nonprofit organization as an Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations. In this vital role, you will oversee administrative functions, coordinate events, manage vendor relationships, and support our team to ensure our mission is achieved seamlessly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a passionate community-focused organization dedicated to positive change. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and calendar management to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll, and record keeping to maintain accurate and organized documentation. Coordinate and plan organizational events, meetings, and community outreach activities to foster engagement and visibility. Supervise administrative staff and volunteers, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance. Oversee human resources functions including onboarding new staff, managing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Support budgeting efforts by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and assisting with financial planning to optimize resource allocation. Skills Interest in developing event planning skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities efficiently. Supervising experience a plus, with a focus on team development and leadership. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, calendar management, and record keeping. Knowledge of human resources practices including payroll processing, employee onboarding, and training & development. Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
