Job Description

GLO Resources is currently hiring an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to work in Denham Springs, LA . The pay rate is between $20 and $23 per hour, depending on experience. This follows a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations, including front desk responsibilities, administrative support, and general clerical functions. Coordinate and process payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and payroll tax regulations. Prepare billing instructions, generate final invoices, and maintain accurate financial records. Manage customer accounts by reconciling balances, monitoring payment activity, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. Create and distribute invoices, respond to billing inquiries, and maintain positive communication with clients regarding account status and payment matters. Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and related payroll obligations. Maintain office efficiency by monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of office equipment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with office administration Experience with payroll tax software Service-oriented and collaborative attitude Experience with Excel and Microsoft applications Exceptional organization and time management skills Ability to multitask and have outstanding organizational skills Valid Driver's License Must be willing to comply with a drug screen & background check
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, calculator, copier, printer, and other standard office equipment. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift office supplies, files, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
