Job Description

Summary:
The Admissions Office Manager serves as a key member of the admissions team conducting major functions in support of the offices recruitment strategies and goals. This position requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail as it is often a first point of contact for prospective students and their families. This position works on communications and events essential to the colleges enrollment efforts.

Key responsibilities: Manage Admissions Inbox and phone lineOversee the physical space that the Admissions Office usesOrganizing the Admissions SuitePreparing the waiting roomsOrdering office suppliesOrdering promotional suppliesManage Admissions Storage spaceResponsible for the execution of the Admissions Communication planDigital and Printed materialsSupervise Admissions student workersOffice Assistant and Tour GuidesManage campus tours/schedulingCreates, manages and tracks activity reporting for events.

Coordinates follow up mailings for portfolio reviews, on and off-campus, including portfolio days, high school portfolio reviews and on campus reviews (office and open houses).In collaboration with the Dean of Admissions, plan and execute on-campus eventsManage Fall travel calendarsData Entry for programmingOther duties as needed
Education:
Bachelors degree is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of professional administrative experience is required.

Experience with event planning is a plus.
Qualifications:
Must possess excellent customer service skillsAbility to interact with a diverse population of internal and external constituents.

Proven ability to perform duties with a high level of professionalism, discretion, diplomacy and tact.

Excellent verbal and written skills are essential in this highly visible position.

Self-motivated, shows initiative and performs duties with little supervision.

Exhibits a flexible, cooperative and hard working attitude.

Positive attitude and good sense of humor is a must.

Must have practical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and basic computer literacy.

Database experience is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to accomplish multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Detail oriented.

Ability to problem-solve.

Ability to work in an independent and proactive manner to meet goals and expectations.

Additional requirements:

Ability to lift heavy materials (30lb boxes).Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work additional hours including occasional weekends, evenings and College events. Must posses a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation.
