Jobs › Cambridge, MA › Office Manager Robert Half Office Manager Cambridge, MA Apply Description We are looking for an organized Office Manager to support daily administrative operations for a non-profit organization. This Long-term Contract position calls for someone who can keep the office running efficiently, provide front-desk support, and help maintain smooth coordination across routine business functions. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a service-minded approach, and the ability to manage office resources and financial administrative tasks with consistency.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration to ensure an efficient, well-organized workplace environment.
  • Manage the purchasing process for office materials and coordinate timely replenishment of essential supplies.
  • Track inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of office resources to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Handle accounts payable activities, including processing invoices and supporting accurate payment workflows.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming communications, delivering attentive reception support.
  • Maintain orderly office records and administrative documentation to support internal business needs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to help sustain reliable office operations. Requirements
  • Prior experience in office management, administrative support, or a closely related role.
  • Working knowledge of office supply purchasing and inventory coordination.
  • Experience supporting accounts payable or similar financial administrative processes.
  • Ability to manage receptionist responsibilities with professionalism and strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and general administrative systems.
