Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Office Administrator to join our dental family. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk operation. Your expertise in dental administrative support, electronic health records (EHR) management, and health insurance procedures will be essential in maintaining smooth workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care while utilizing your strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures. Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix/ Dexis Verify patient insurance coverage, process billing, and handle collections Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; schedule appointments and relay messages efficiently. Maintain organized filing systems for dental records, reports, and correspondence Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as care plan documentation, administrative office coordination, and data entry. Perform clerical duties including typing, scanning, fax, and email Assist in the coordination of clinic operations by managing patient flow and supporting front desk activities in a fast-paced environment. Experience Proven experience in a dental office is required Strong knowledge of Dentrix preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Prior experience handling patient service interactions with professionalism and empathy. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a focus on phone etiquette and customer service excellence. Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy dental environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
