Skilled Nursing Facility Location:
Baltimore, Maryland We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Maryland. The ideal candidate is a proven Medicaid specialist with a deep understanding of long-term care reimbursement, eligibility, and ongoing case management. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary Medicaid expert for the facility Manage Medicaid applications, redeterminations, spend-downs, and approvals Track and follow up on pending Medicaid cases to ensure timely reimbursement Maintain accurate resident trust accounts and private-pay billing Ensure compliance with Maryland Medicaid regulations and facility policies Coordinate with admissions, social services, and administration to prevent coverage gaps Prepare for and support audits, surveys, and financial reviews Oversee AR, billing accuracy, and census-related financial processes Communicate professionally with residents, families, and state agencies Required Qualifications Experience as a Business Office Manager or Medicaid Specialist in a SNF is required Hands-on Maryland Medicaid experience required (applications, renewals, denials, appeals) Strong knowledge of long-term care billing, trust accounts, and AR Excellent organization, follow-through, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and own the Medicaid process Qualifications Experience as a Business Office Manager/Medicaid Specialist in the state of Maryland Familiarity with PointClickCare History of maintaining high Medicaid conversion rates What We Offer Competitive salary Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Stable leadership and operational support If you are a true Medicaid specialist who knows SNF business office operations inside and out, we want to hear from you. #IND123
