NURSING HOME BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Office Manager oversees the financial and administrative operations of the nursing home business office. This position is responsible for billing, accounts receivable, resident accounts, insurance, and maintaining accurate financial records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily operations of the business office. Process resident billing, payments, and account balances. Submit and follow up on Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and private-pay claims. Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections. Maintain accurate resident financial records and documentation. Handle resident and family questions regarding billing and accounts. Prepare reports and assist with financial audits. Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information. Coordinate with administration, admissions, clinical staff, and outside agencies as needed. Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous business office or healthcare billing experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and private-pay billing preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Detail-oriented with strong financial and recordkeeping skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
