Job Description
Office Administrator A&A Insulation | Laurel, MD Full-Time | In-Office About the Role A&A Insulation is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our growing mechanical insulation company. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of administrative experience who wants to take on meaningful responsibility and continue growing their career. You'll work closely with our Office Manager while supporting our project management, field, accounting, and administrative teams. We're not looking for someone who already knows everything about construction. We're looking for someone who is organized, takes initiative, follows through, and is willing to learn. What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the A&A office
- Maintain organized project, employee, and company records
- Assist Project Managers and field teams with documentation and administrative requests
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense documentation
- Assist with employee onboarding and maintain personnel records
- Track employee certifications, training, and other required documentation
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, meetings, and company activities
- Communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and other partners
- Follow up on missing information and help keep administrative processes moving
- Provide additional administrative support to the Office Manager and A&A team as needed What We're Looking For
- 1-5 years of administrative, office, or similar professional experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and following tasks through to completion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable learning new software and business processes
- Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with AP, AR, payroll, or bookkeeping is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Why A&A?
