This role serves as a key resource for billing inquiries, compliance oversight, and pharmacy business operations. What You'll Do + Lead daily pharmacy business office operations and support services + Oversee pharmacy billing, collections, cash posting, accounts receivable, and aging analysis + Manage pharmacy office staff through scheduling, mentoring, coaching, and performance oversight + Develop and maintain office policies, procedures, and operational workflows + Support budgeting, reporting, audits, compliance, and financial controls + Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacy billing questions and reconciliations + Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to improve operational efficiency and best practices + Ensure compliance with HIPAA , Medicare Part D, Fraud Waste & Abuse ( FWA ), and other regulatory requirements + Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with pharmacy regulations + Participate in strategic initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts Qualifications + Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license in good standing required + Bachelor's degree preferred + Experience in long-term care pharmacy, healthcare billing, or pharmacy operations strongly preferred + Knowledge of pharmacy revenue cycle and accounts receivable processes + Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred + Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word Schedule & Work Environment + Full-time position + Primarily weekday schedule + Some early morning, evening, weekend, and occasional overnight travel may be required Apply Today Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to Maine's veterans while building a rewarding career in healthcare operations.
