Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to assist is daily tasks within our restaurant group. This vital role combines bookkeeping responsibilities with office management and human resources duties, ensuring the smooth financial operations and administrative functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in accounting software, financial reporting, and office coordination. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our organizational success while utilizing a diverse skill set rooted in accounting principles and office administration and HR. Duties Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using QuickBooks Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations Perform month-end and season-end closing procedures Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements Onboard new staff and properly maintain employee records Maintain accurate records of financial transactions through double entry bookkeeping and account analysis Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure consistency between bank records and internal ledgers Handle administrative responsibilities such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and supporting staff with various operational tasks Ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards for non-profit or corporate entities when applicable Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong understanding of GAAP standards, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting practices Knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance, accounts payable/receivable management, and bank reconciliation procedures Ability to perform detailed account analysis and reconcile accounts accurately Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Strong communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating across departments This Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager position is a role designed for individuals eager to bring their expertise in accounting combined with office and HR management skills to a vibrant organization.
