About Us Bridgewater Custom Homes is a growing residential construction company known for custom new home builds and design-forward renovations, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and craftsmanship. As our business continues to expand, we're looking for a dependable, organized professional to manage daily office operations and maintain accurate financial records to help keep our projects running smoothly.
- The Role We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that blends traditional bookkeeping with day-to-day office and project-related administrative support. You'll work closely with owners, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks, including A/R, A/P, and bank/credit card reconciliations Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll and prepare related reporting Support job costing, progress billing, and change-order invoicing Maintain subcontractor compliance documentation (lien waivers, COIs, etc.
- What We're Looking For 3+ years of bookkeeping or office administration experience (construction industry experience is a plus) Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, payroll, and job costing Ability to learn new software quickly (BuilderTrend training provided) Exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills Professional, friendly communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions Ability to prioritize effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner Dependable, trustworthy, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment•What We Offer $22 per hour 25-40 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility A supportive, collaborative team environment where your contributions are valued Opportunities for growth as the company continues to expand•If you enjoy keeping the financial and administrative side of a construction business running like clockwork — and want to be part of a growing local builder that genuinely values its people — we'd love to hear from you.
