We're growing, the team is expanding, and we're hiring an Office Manager / Full-Charge Bookkeeper to run our financial operations end to end. This is the seat that keeps the whole company moving behind the scenes — and we want someone to truly own it. You don't need to know anything about spray booths. You need to know how to run clean books, process payroll, and keep a busy shop organized without someone looking over your shoulder. What you'll do
  • Run full-cycle accounting in
QuickBooks:
AP, AR, and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Administer and process payroll accurately and on time
  • Invoice promptly and stay on top of receivables
  • Keep QuickBooks current and clean, with month-end close on a predictable schedule
  • Handle benefits administration and new-employee paperwork
  • Catch inconsistencies across quotes, invoices, and work reports and follow up to resolve them
  • Keep the office, sales, warehouse, and field crews coordinated and talking What we're looking for (required)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) — able to run it on your own from day one
  • Full-cycle accounting experience: bank reconciliation, AP, and AR
  • Hands-on payroll administration and processing
  • Someone who owns their work, builds routines, and closes gaps without being asked
  • Able to reliably commute to Redford, MI (onsite role, no relocation) Nice to have (not required)
  • ADP payroll experience
  • P&L statement preparation
  • Salesforce or other CRM familiarity
  • Back-office experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial-equipment businesses
  • A strong instinct for receivables and collections The environment Our office sits inside a working shop.   • $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience
