Bookkeeper / Office Manager |Wayland, MI Salary Range:
$51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in bookkeeper / office manager? If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with tax regulations. Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly. Maintain organized financial records and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Oversee general office administration, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relations. Support HR functions such as new employee onboarding and maintaining personnel files. Coordinate facility maintenance and serve as a point of contact for external service providers. Implement and maintain efficient office procedures and systems to ensure smooth operations. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP B1) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff and external stakeholders. Experience in general office management duties, including supply ordering, record keeping, and administrative support.
