Position Summary The Office Manager assists the principal in all aspects of building office operations and serves as a central support resource for students, staff, families, and visitors. Essential Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming front-office environment. Manage student records, report cards, cumulative files, and pupil accounting functions. Assist with district and building communications, publications, and correspondence. Prepare and submit state-required reports and documentation. Coordinate office operations and maintain accurate records. Assist with bookkeeping functions, including deposits, account reconciliation, and financial record keeping. Maintain confidentiality regarding student and personnel information. Support the principal and staff with day-to-day administrative needs. Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of a school office manager. Qualifications Associate degree in business, office administration, communications, or a related field preferred, but not required. Previous experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or school setting preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business office technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Demonstrated customer service skills and a commitment to creating a positive experience for students, families, and staff. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Experience with bookkeeping functions preferred. Knowledge of PowerSchool or other student information systems preferred, but not required. Knowledge of pupil accounting, state reporting requirements, and educational regulations is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate. Why Join Webberville?
