Organizational Overview Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) is a non-profit, community development financial institution providing integrated business services so that entrepreneurs can start and grow businesses that enrich their economic and social fabric and revitalize neighborhood economies. NDC is a thriving organization with thirty-eight employees and an ever-expanding mission to provide more services in more neighborhoods. The Midtown Global Market (MGM) is a year-round indoor public market, local small business incubator, "town square" for the Phillips and other South Minneapolis neighborhoods, and an award-winning destination for both local and national visitors. The Midtown Global Market is co-owned by two local nonprofits, the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) and the Cultural Wellness Center (CWC), who work with the small, diverse business owners in the Market as they launch and grow their businesses. Key Responsibilities Receive work order calls, log calls, create work orders, dispatch work order to General Manager or Engineers as appropriate. This also includes monitoring the maintenance work order system and preparing monthly report to General Manager on status of all work orders. Perform daily property inspections and report to General Manager. Inspect the lower-level storage area including temperature checks of cooler/freezer space and dry storage units. Create and maintain building access cards and track all keys for the property. Operate management office service window to take all tenant and vendor inquiries, payments and other requests. Respond to tenant needs and coordinates with General Manager and other team members to resolve issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Receive and respond to tenant's requests in a timely manner in accordance with the terms of their Lease Agreement. Communicate reoccurring issues and complaints to General Manager. Provide full administrative support, including phone support, reports, filing and distribution of correspondence. Coordinate office supply orders and office equipment service contract management. Maintain tenant files including leases, certificates of insurance and updated MN Dept of Health Certification Documents. Track all rent payments and tenant invoices for payment with weekly reporting to the General Manager. Make best effort to perform other duties which may be assigned. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma/GED equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred. 1 - 3 years professional office experience required. Experience using Microsoft Office Products - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,Teams. Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and follow through onassignments with little direction. Experience working with diverse communities, bi-lingual in Spanish, Hmong or Somali a plus. Display good judgment when responding to tenant and vendor requests. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
