Description:
Overview Cal-Tex Electric is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to support our field team, project managers, customers, and office staff. This position serves as a central point of coordination for administrative operations, employee support, office procedures, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative functions Answer and direct incoming phone calls and visitors Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships Coordinate mail, shipping, and receiving activities Assist with onboarding and employee paperwork Maintain employee records and licensing documentation Support IT with device ordering, deployments and returns Assist with benefits administration and employee questions Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and company events Maintain company forms, policies, and administrative records Support project managers and field personnel with administrative needs Assist with safety documentation and compliance tracking Ensure a professional and welcoming office environment Benefits Pay depending on skill level and experience, $25-30/hr 401(k) with company match

Qualifications Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Customer service experience preferred Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage multiple software systems and digital workflows. Experience in construction, trades, HR, payroll, or office administration preferred Ability to handle confidential information professionally Familiarity with standard office equipment and software Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Hours 7:00-3:30 (flexible) Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Prior Lake, MN office during normal business hours.
