POSITION SUMMARY
The Office Manager provides direct support to the Executive Director of Admissions and Marketing while serving as the primary front desk representative for the Admissions Office. This role is responsible for managing daily office operations, supervising student workers, and ensuring a welcoming environment for prospective students, families, and guests. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, answering phones, greeting guests, and directing inquiries appropriately. Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparing correspondence. Supervise and coordinate schedules for all student workers in the Admissions Office, ensuring coverage and assigning tasks as needed. Maintain office supplies, manage mail distribution, and oversee the general organization of the front desk area. Process incoming documents and forms related to admissions, ensuring accuracy and proper filing. Assist with scheduling and logistical support for admissions events, campus visits, and meetings. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Perform data entry and basic recordkeeping tasks as needed. Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role. Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and problemsolving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Multilingual skills highly preferred. Ability to contribute to a climate that supports a diverse student body, serves firstgeneration college students, multilingual learners, and contributions to equity and social justice through their work.
