With a focus on national security and economic resiliency, we serve critical industries such as defense, aerospace, and automotive powering a high-technology future. Vulcan Elements is building a team of ambitious professionals committed to Mission Focus, Technical Excellence and Transparency. As an Office Manager you will be responsible for a wide range of operational functions, including: Responsibilities Oversee general office operations and communicate to management office status, needs, and initiatives Coordinate onsite visits by vendors and service providers Ensure office and kitchen supplies are stocked and in working condition - snacks, beverages, kitchen supplies, office supplies, and printer are fully stocked and well-organized Manage office supply budgets, vendor coordination, and logistics Monitor inventory regularly and place orders proactively to avoid shortages Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and common areas Coordinate various events with the People team, assist with ordering catered meals for various onsite meetings (company events, onboarding, celebrations, and offsites) Assist with event budgets, vendor coordination, and logistics Greet and welcome all guests, clients, and visitors in a warm and professional manner Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure building security protocols are followed Support general administrative tasks across departments as needed Assist leadership and team members with calendar management and scheduling Responsibilities and tasks outlined are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the business Qualifications 2+ years of experience in office management, administrative, or operations role Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Warm, outgoing personality with a passion for creating a positive workplace environment Ability to juggle multiple priorities and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with calendar tools (Teams, Outlook) and general office software Reliable and committed to being onsite Monday through Friday Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
