Job Description

Position Summary The Office Administrator plays a key role in supporting the administrative, operational, and customer service functions of the business. This position works closely with leadership, production teams, sales staff, and customers to maintain smooth workflow throughout the organization. Position Details Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries. Maintain organized filing systems, including customer records, production orders, and internal documentation. Prepare internal communications, memos, reports, and meeting agendas as needed. Assist with quoting, order entry, and processing customer purchase orders. Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery schedules. Handle routine customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary. Support production scheduling by entering orders and communicating priorities to manufacturing teams. Coordinate shipping, freight scheduling, and delivery documentation. Prepare weekly and monthly administrative reports as requested. Position Requirements Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Outstanding computer skills, to include all MS Office products College degree or 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in furniture manufacturing) Ability to develop and document procedural suggestions or changes First-rate analytical skills Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
