POSITION
Bookkeeper & Office Administrator (Part-Time)
OVERVIEW
The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers are the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and member of Minor League Baseball. The team has experienced exponential growth within the community and baseball industry while activating the award-winning Atrium Health Ballpark. The organization has assembled a Front Office that is driven by a commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and creating an exceptional workplace culture. The Cannon Ballers are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to support the organization's bookkeeping needs and assist with general office administration. This role plays a critical part in keeping our front office running smoothly and will report directly to the General Manager.
JOB TYPE
Part-Time (Approximately 20-30 hours per week)
PRIMARY DUTIES
Handle invoicing, bill pay, and general bookkeeping functions. Manage filing and organization of paperwork, including new-hire and onboarding documents. Prepare and deliver deposits to the local bank branch. Support department leaders with administrative needs, including employee onboarding and payroll review coordination. Manage office-related vendors such as cleaning services, printer/copier suppliers, internet service provider, etc. Assist with outgoing and incoming mail as needed. Help maintain and support the office and team calendar. All other duties as assigned by General Manager. •Outline of Responsibilities could fluctuate and change at any course of time•
QUALIFICATIONS
Practical work experience in a related bookkeeping or administrative role strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and the ability to learn new web-based systems Strong computer skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
