Job Description

Are you interested in a career with one of North Carolina's largest Home Care providers? We are seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to fill the role of Office Manager. The Office Manager is employed on a full-time basis and is available at all times during work hours. They will carry the cell phone to retain calls after hours, on weekends and holidays, and will return calls at 8:00 am the next morning. The Office Manager will oversee all day-to-day duties of the office. Salary is negotiable
EDUCATION
Must be a high school graduate. Must have knowledge of Excel program and basic computer skills.
EXPERIENCE
Two years experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manger is preferred. Experience in home care and computer knowledge (Windows, Word, and Excel) is a preference.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have leadership ability. Must have good communication between patients and in-home aides. Must be motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all office functions in compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as all policy and procedure standards for Home Life Care, Inc. Supervises the running of overall office. Assure staffing is appropriate for Patient's level of care. Handle questions/concerns pertaining to Payroll/Billing issues from corporate office regarding timesheets. Interview, hire, issue orientation booklet, schedule orientation and conduct orientation of new in-home aide staff to company's standards and expectations. Assure that all new hire paperwork for new employees are completed and signed accordingly. Assemble new aide charts before keying into the computer. Display good communication skills to public and co-workers. Maintains HIPAA compliance within Home Life Care, Inc. according to HIPAA rules and regulations. Promote the company through public relations and marketing. Attend and participate in Public Relation (PR) events in your local office area. Any other job duties as assigned by supervisor. Promote good morale in the office. Promote professional work atmosphere.
