Job Description
```Job Overview``` We are looking to hire in any of these locations: Fayetteville, Concord, Statesville, or Monroe. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our team as a bilingual (English/Spanish) Lead Legal Assistant. In addition to serving as a primary point of contact and providing exceptional customer service and administrative support, this individual will supervise and mentor a team of legal assistants, ensuring consistent quality, accountability, and smooth day-to-day office operations. This is a full-time position with regular office hours. DUTIES Team Leadership Supervising, training, and mentoring legal assistants, including onboarding new hires and providing ongoing coaching. Monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing performance issues professionally and promptly. Coordinating daily workflow and task assignments among legal assistants to ensure adequate coverage and balanced workloads. Serving as the escalation point for client issues, scheduling conflicts, or administrative problems the team cannot resolve independently. Conducting regular check-ins with team members and reporting team performance and concerns to the managing attorney. Ensuring team-wide compliance with firm policies, confidentiality standards, and client service expectations. Core Legal Assistant Duties Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Maintaining smooth and open communication with clients. Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar. Assisting with the filing and organization of legal documents. Providing general administrative support (photocopying, scanning, and faxing). Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Handling client inquiries and providing excellent customer service. Collaborating on other administrative tasks as needed.
