Our client is a regional trucking and freight transportation company based in Wadesboro, North Carolina. They primarily provide trucking and logistics services supporting commercial and industrial shipping needs across North Carolina and surrounding Southeast markets. The company focuses on reliable freight movement and transportation solutions for local and regional customers.
Salary:
$60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to oversee and support a flexible range of administrative functions within a dynamic organization. This role may encompass office management, payroll administration, and/or human resources responsibilities, depending on the candidate's experience and organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office operations and the ability to adapt across multiple functional areas as priorities evolve.
Job Responsibilities:
Overseeing day-to-day office operations and administrative workflows Managing payroll processing accurately and on schedule Supporting or leading HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and compliance Maintaining organized filing systems and office records Coordinating internal communications and supporting leadership with administrative needs Assisting with budgeting, reporting, and general office financial tasks Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Supporting staffing needs, scheduling, and workforce coordination as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office management, payroll administration, or human resources Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience managing or supporting multiple administrative functions Knowledge of payroll systems, HR processes, and/or office operations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing responsibilities High attention to detail and accuracy
