Job Description

Position Summary The Interim Office Administrator is responsible for greeting visitors and callers and providing administrative support for programs and communications. Hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-4:00pm.
Key Responsibilities Greeting & Assisting Visitors:
Welcome guests and visitors, answer questions, direct to the appropriate location or staff member if needed.
Managing phone communications:
Answer phone calls, provide information requested, transfer to the appropriate staff member if needed. Scheduling & calendar management: Manage the facility calendar, communicate with staff and facility users.
Administrative Program Support:
Take notes for program meetings, enter data when needed.
Administrative Communications Support:
Produce bulletins, newsletters, and emails to share information with the congregation; operate office machinery to produce bulletins and newsletters. Required Skills Excellence in written and verbal communication. Organization Self-motivated Time Management Proficiency in the following is required: Microsoft Word, Canva/Adobe, Google Workspace, Zoom, etc. Proficiency in the following is preferred: Brightwheel, Dropbox, Mailchimp, Realm Work collaboratively and supportively with team members, congregation members, and community members A servant's heart with a commitment to the mission of the United Methodist Church. There is potential for this position to become long-term depending on the needs of the organization and the skillset of the candidate.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
