This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practice areas, including Traffic/Criminal, estate planning, family law, personal injury litigation, and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to manage administrative functions and assist with legal research, document management, and client interactions. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office while providing vital support to attorneys and clients alike. Duties Provide comprehensive administrative support to the attorney across multiple practice areas, including legal research, document review, and drafting legal correspondence. Manage case files using document management systems such as Eportal ensuring accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of legal documents. Coordinate client interviews, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and facilitate effective communication between clients and attorneys. Organize court filings, track deadlines for procedural law compliance, and support litigation processes from initial pleadings through trial documentation. Oversee office operations including scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, handling incoming inquiries professionally, and maintaining a welcoming office environment. Support project management tasks related to case timelines or legal initiatives while ensuring all work adheres to procedural standards. Experience Proven experience as a legal assistant or paralegal supporting multiple practice areas such as Traffic/Criminal Law , estate planning, family law, or personal injury litigation. Strong knowledge of procedural law and familiarity with document review processes within a busy law office environment. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis; experience with legal writing and drafting contracts or legal documents is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), document management systems like iManage or PCLaw, and familiarity with legal research tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting; experience managing multiple cases simultaneously is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration; attention to detail in proofreading and editing legal documents is essential. Prior experience is required.
