Location:
Lincoln, NE Competitive Salary We are currently seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join our large Skilled Nursing Facility in the Lincoln, NE area . This is a great opportunity to join a supportive organization offering competitive pay, growth potential, and a warm working environment . The Business Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the business office and will have an Assistant BOM reporting directly to them . We are looking for someone with prior Skilled Nursing Facility BOM experience , strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing , and experience managing collections and billing workflows . Responsibilities Meet with residents and families to discuss financial obligations and payment options Assist families with the Medicaid application process and gather required documentation Verify insurance coverage and eligibility Manage private pay collections and outstanding balances Input census information into billing and clinical software systems Assist with insurance authorization processes Participate in Triple Check meetings and Medicare weekly meetings Manage and distribute resident trust funds Ensure all admission agreements are completed and signed Supervise and support the Assistant Business Office Manager Perform additional duties as required Qualifications Prior Business Office Manager experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance plans Experience with collections, Triple Check, and Medicare meetings Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Excel a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with residents and families Highly organized, detail-oriented, and computer proficient (Microsoft Office)
