Job Description

We are looking for a Business Office Manager to join our team. Join our excellent team of professionals to help meet the medical, social and spiritual needs of the people we serve. St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH, is a 51-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire's continuum of care and to be recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with a 5-star rating. We are looking for an experienced, full-time Business Office Manager to join our management team. The Business Office Manager is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of all business office functions in accordance with CCNH policies and procedures, generally accepted principles of accounting and long term care reimbursement regulations. The right person needs to have experience in the following; Medicare and Medicaid billing in a long-term skilled nursing facility and has working knowledge of accounting principles, Medicare and New Hampshire Medicaid reimbursement systems. Full time Benefits; Comprehensive healthcare plan (max deductible $600.00) Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Additional pay if you are enrolled in an employer sponsored healthcare plan Critical illness, accident, long-term disability and pet insurance available Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance Flexible Spending Account 401K Plan, with 3% automatic employer contribution (after 1 year of employment) Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Prepare preadmission payer source verification Participate in the admission, discharge and transfer processes Maintain and report accurate daily census information Responsible for accounts receivable and billing by payer source (Medicare A / Medicare B; Medicaid; Private and Other Insurance) Process cash receipts Participate in monthly Triple Check process Handle collections by payer source and bad debt reporting Assist residents with Medicaid application process as needed Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management Manage and reconcile Resident Trust accounts Approve facility invoices received from Accounts Payable; assign G/L accounts to be charged Prepare reports for annual audit Participate in annual budget preparation Supervise reception staff. Requirements Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Medicare and Medicaid Billing in a long-term skilled nursing facility in New Hampshire Worked in a LTC facility as a Business Office Manager On-site position Working knowledge of accounting principles, Medicare and New Hampshire Medicaid reimbursement systems All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap Experience Required 2 year(s): Medicare and Medicaid Billing in a long-term skilled nursing facility in New Hampshire • Worked in a LTC facility as a Business Office Manager • Working knowledge of accounting principles, Medicare and New Hampshire Medicaid reimbursement systems Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
