$65,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications About the Opportunity A growing, patient-focused dental organization is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to provide operational leadership and support across two New Jersey practice locations . This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced dental manager who understands how to successfully balance practice operations, team leadership, patient experience, revenue cycle performance, and business results . The ideal candidate is a proactive, accountable leader who can move comfortably between strategic oversight and day-to-day problem-solving. This individual will have a regular presence at both assigned practices and serve as a key partner to providers, team members, and senior operations leadership. This position provides leadership across practice operations, staffing, patient experience, revenue cycle performance, scheduling, team development, and administrative execution. The Practice Manager will work closely with providers and senior operations leadership to ensure each practice operates efficiently while consistently delivering an exceptional patient experience. Because this position supports two practice locations, regular travel between assigned New Jersey offices is an essential function of the role. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to adjust their onsite presence based on practice needs. Key Responsibilities Practice Operations & Performance Oversee day-to-day operational performance across two assigned dental practices Maintain an active onsite presence at both locations based on operational and business needs Monitor patient scheduling and provider utilization to maximize practice efficiency Identify workflow challenges, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed Monitor outstanding tasks and establish accountability for timely completion Partner with senior operations leadership on practice goals, performance, and strategic priorities Coordinate facility, equipment, supply, maintenance, and other operational needs Support implementation of new processes, systems, and organizational initiatives Team Leadership & Development Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to practice team members Build an engaged, accountable, and patient-focused team culture Oversee staffing schedules and ensure appropriate operational coverage Participate in recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees Establish expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching Partner with HR and operations leadership on employee performance and development Facilitate team meetings and maintain consistent communication across practices Identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement, efficiency, and performance Help develop team members for increased responsibility and future advancement Patient Experience & Treatment Support Ensure patients receive a consistent, professional, and compassionate experience Serve as a leadership resource for escalated patient questions and concerns Support treatment planning and treatment coordination workflows as needed Reinforce effective patient follow-up and treatment acceptance processes Support patient financial conversations and financing workflows Partner with clinical and administrative teams to resolve patient experience concerns quickly and professionally Revenue Cycle & Financial Performance Maintain a strong working knowledge of dental insurance, claims, patient balances, and collections Monitor patient accounts receivable and collection activity Review operational and financial performance indicators and identify areas requiring attention Oversee daily closeout and deposit processes Support end-of-month reporting and reconciliation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred Prior dental office management experience required Demonstrated experience leading and developing dental office teams Strong knowledge of dental front-office operations, scheduling, insurance, collections, and patient financial workflows Experience monitoring practice performance and implementing operational improvements Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to independently prioritize responsibilities and follow through on commitments Confidence communicating with providers, patients, employees, and senior leadership Comfortable learning and utilizing practice management systems and new technologies Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred Ability to regularly travel between two assigned New Jersey practice locations required Reliable transportation required Preferred Experience Multi-site or multi-provider dental practice management Dental implant, oral surgery, prosthodontic, or other specialty dental experience Treatment coordination and high-value treatment presentation Patient financing and collections Revenue cycle management Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance management Experience working in a growing or rapidly evolving dental organization Compensation & Opportunity The anticipated salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$90,000 annually , depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skill set.
