The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general office administration, including, telephone communication, emails, digital filing, document reviews, and community support. Preferred candidates will have direct experience with community support or case management.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and return voicemails in a timely and professional manner Schedule and manage client appointments Collect client payments and assist with basic billing questions Maintain strong communication with the billing department, including insurance verification and coordination Maintain and update an accurate client waitlist Assist with periodic office errands Perform general office administrative tasks to support clinic operations Provide professional, respectful, and trauma informed customer service to clients and families Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of experience in an administrative, customer service, or office support role Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast paced environment Basic computer skills including email, scheduling systems, and electronic records High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a medical, behavioral health, or counseling office Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes Experience with electronic health record systems Knowledge of community resources and social service systems Bilingual skills a plus Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner Working toward a BA or MA in a related field of studyJob Type:
Full time (4 day work week)Pay:
