This position plays a key role in donor engagement, development planning, executive office administration, and general office management. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized bilingual professional with strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

$70,000 - $78,000 annually (DOE) Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment / Donor Relations Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies and donation campaigns Plan, coordinate, and manage fundraising events and donor engagement activities Maintain accurate donation records and oversee contribution tracking Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and supporters Coordinate donor receptions and appreciation events Manage and update donor database systems Executive Office Support Provide executive administrative support to the Head of Institution, including calendar management and coordination of executive matters Prepare materials, agendas, attendance records, and minutes for board and leadership meetings Maintain official records and support corporate secretary functions Office Management Oversee daily operations of the administrative office Serve as office manager to ensure smooth workflow across departments Coordinate communication among faculty/staff, students, parents, donors, and external stakeholders Promote a collaborative and service-oriented office environment Qualifications Several years of professional work experience, including prior supervisory or management experience fluency in both Japanese and English (Japanese proficiency highly preferred) Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed Bachelor's degree or equivalent required Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive mindset Preferred Experience Prior experience in fundraising, donor relations, public relations, institutional advancement, external affairs, or sales/business development is highly desirable Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including: Paid Time Off Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance Life Insurance Retirement Plan Fagesia Account and Dependent Care Assistance programs Child Allowance Tuition Assistance Program Parental Leave Complimentary lunch provided during the academic term Thanksgiving Break (3 days) Winter Break (2-3 weeks) Spring Break (1 week) Application Requirements Interested applicants should submit: Cover Letter detailing relevant experience and expertise Two Letters of Recommendation with contact information (at least one from a current or recent employer) Resume /
