Job Description

If you are a sharp professional who loves numbers and seamless office operations, we want you on our team! We are a premier professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate development projects. As a tight-knit, collaborative team of five, we deeply value accountability, high-quality execution, and the unique impact each member brings to our growing business. This dynamic role combines full-cycle bookkeeping with hands-on office management, serving as the operational backbone of our firm. Working directly with leadership, you will maintain financial accuracy, manage daily operations, and streamline workflows.
salary:
$35 - $40 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 9 AM - 6

No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting Accounts Payable:
Manage full-cycle AP, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and vendor payments.
Accounts Receivable:
Manage AR, invoice clients, track payments, and handle collections follow-up.
Reconciliations:
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
Ledger & Close:
Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist with month-end and year-end close.
Project Tracking:
Track project-related expenses and allocate costs appropriately.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and cash flow insights for leadership.
Tax & Audit Support:
Assist external accountants/CPAs with tax prep and audits.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
Office Management & Operations Client Relations:
Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones and directing inquiries.
Filing Systems:
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
Office Coordination:
Coordinate office needs, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Administrative Support:
Support scheduling, meetings, and internal communications; assist leadership team with administrative tasks and special projects.
Process Improvement:
Help streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
