Job Description

The Japanese Weekend School of New York is seeking an Administrative Manager / Office Manager to support overall school operations. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in working in the education field and would like to utilize their experience in general affairs, administration, office management, accounting, or school administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational duties that support the smooth running of the school. Location New Rochelle, NY Full-time Work Schedule Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Salary $55,000 - $62,000 Responsibilities Manage staff attendance and timekeeping Prepare and manage the school budget Support audit-related matters Manage school assets, equipment, and supplies Oversee purchasing and procurement Handle payroll-related tasks Manage contracts Prepare and submit applications for government subsidies and grants Communicate and coordinate with external vendors Manage contracts and communications with host schools / rented school facilities Coordinate various administrative matters related to school operations
Qualifications Required:
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for business use Japanese/English Bilingual Experience in office management, general affairs, administration, accounting, school administration, or related fields
Preferred:
