$55,000•$62,000 per year About the Role The New York Japanese Supplementary School is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager (Office Manager) to oversee daily administrative operations and support the overall management of the school. This role is ideal for someone with strong office management experience who is interested in contributing to an educational environment and supporting a bilingual, bicultural school community. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth school operations by managing administrative processes, coordinating with internal staff and external partners, and supporting financial and operational functions. Key Responsibilities Manage employee attendance and timekeeping records Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing budget monitoring Support audit preparation and compliance processes Oversee inventory, assets, and equipment management Manage purchasing and procurement activities Assist with payroll-related administration Handle contract preparation, tracking, and management Support government subsidy and grant application processes Coordinate with external vendors and service providers Liaise with the host facility regarding lease and operational agreements Provide general administrative and operational support for school activities
Qualifications Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) English proficiency equivalent to Eiken Grade 2 or higher Experience in office administration, general affairs, accounting, HR, school administration, or related fields
Preferred:
